Getting Started with Model-Glue

Topic:
Model-Glue is a powerful but simple MVC (Model-View-Controller) framework for ColdFusion. If you're new to developing with a framework, or just want to find out more about Model-Glue, this presentation will help you take the plunge. We'll cover installation, setup, and creation of a new application. Then we'll demonstrate how to accomplish some of the most frequently required tasks in building web applications with Model-Glue, and finish with some highlights of the upcoming Model-Glue: Gesture Alpha.
Bio:
Rachel Lehman (formerly Maxim) is a multi-disciplined web developer and designer from Rockville, MD. She's been developing with ColdFusion for 7 years, Flex for 2 years, and specializes in UI/UX design. Her passion is for combining her technical skills with her eye for design to produce usable, web-standards compliant sites and applications. Currently she is the Director of Marketing at MainStreet Lender, LLC in Chevy Chase where she manages all marketing and design including their website, www.msl.com.
