Exception handling

Topic:
Is error and exception handling a mystery to you? Do you just use the defaults and hope for the best? What do you do in a special situation, when the defaults don't give you what you need?

This presentation will focus on how to use the error handling features and information ColdFusion provides. We won't just rehash the documentation, but will look at some of the pitfalls and also tips and tricks on how to better use what is available. We will also look at the onError method available in Application.cfc, as of CF7.

David Lakein is a web/database engineer for TeraTech, Inc, and has been using ColdFusion since 1999. He specializes in ColdFusion application architecture and database design.
