Creating banded reports with groupings in ColdFusion using nested tags

Topic:
Any reporting tool that allows any number of nested, grouped sections, with section headers and footers, is called a “banded” report because it creates nested bands of data. MS Access reports and Crystal Reports are examples of banded report designers. I will talk about how to create traditional banded reports using nested CFOUTPUT groupings. It’s more straightforward and elegant than you might think.
